LINERASE Powder of equine collagen Type 1

Collagen is a significant component in tissue regeneration, and it is the natural substrate for adhesion, growth and differentiation of connective tissue cells. The type-1 soluble collagen is commonly used as cell stimulator in regenerative procedures.

The type-1 collagen used in Linerase is obtained from horse tendons. The treatment is highly efficient and safe for use.

Indications:

  • Intensive regenerative therapy for aged skin of face, neck, décolleté and other areas of the body (age-related loss of skin elasticity, firmness, and turgor).
  • Atrophic skin conditions (stretch marks, acne scars, operation scars).

Contraindications:

  • Patients under age of 18
  • Pregnancy
  • Hemophilia 
  • Keloid scars
  • Skin cancer or any related malignancy
  • Skin diseases in the treatable area

Procedure:

1. Prepare the mixture by adding 5 ml of 0,9% saline or a mixture of 4,5 ml of 0,9% saline and 0,5 ml of 2% lidocaine solution. It is recommended to use 5,0 ml syringe to pierce the rubber stopper and slowly mix the ingredients in the vial. 

2. Treat the surface of the skin with an antiseptic solution.

3. Administer the mixture. One vial of 100 mg is suited for treating face, neck, décolleté and the back of hands.

4. Use: point injections. Depth: deep dermal layer. Dose: 0,1 ml of injection; keep the needle at an angle of 30-45 degrees from the surface. Distance between injections – 2 cm.

5. Treat the area with an antiseptic solution, apply Traumeel ointment. 

Specifications:

  1. Prior testing of the product is not required.
  2. Slight burning sensation may occur during the administration of the solution (exempt in cases when using solution containing lidocaine).
  3. Slight hyperaemia may occur 1-3 hours after injection around the point of injection (in diameter 1-1,5 cm).
  4. Slightly increased sensitivity around the area of injection may occur on the next day, but it passes within few hours.
  5. Recommended course – 4-6 weeks with 2 week intervals, 1-2 times per year.
